For a small team shipping internal tools, SaaS backends, or containerized services, Caddy often saves time immediately.

Inside a larger existing estate where Nginx is already part of the language of the system, choosing Nginx can be the lower-risk decision even when the config is uglier.

The better proxy is the one the team can understand, change safely, and debug quickly when production gets weird.
